Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Ruth and I am training with CPHT to be a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist.

I’m a Farmer's daughter, my parents farm in Leeds and I’m often found on the farm helping out…usually mucking out or driving a tractor!

I also have 2 horses which keep me busy! I also have a little cat at home who is constantly glued to my side!

​My journey into hypnotherapy came after being a highly stressed Police Officer. After serving over 10 years in my local Police Service I wanted out. I loved the idea of helping people but unfortunately a lot of red tape and politics I didn’t feel like I could do the job to the best of my ability. From what I was seeing and dealing with on a daily basis had a big impact on my mental health. I wanted more from life.

​After leaving the Police, the worries and stresses had followed me around and without realising it was really starting to bring me down. I did the usual counselling sessions but still no clearer on how I could feel better. I wanted to ‘fix’ the problem not go back and look at my past. I knew what I wanted my life to look like, how I wanted to feel….but felt lost on how to get there.

By chance someone recommended ‘clinical hypnotherapy’ to me and I thought to myself, ‘I’ll give it a go, I’ve got nothing to lose’. I turned up expecting a pocket watch to be swung in front of my face….that couldn’t have been further from the truth! It was all about positivity and finding the solution!

From the first session I had with my hypnotherapist my life suddenly felt clearer and I knew with the help and support I could get to where I wanted to be. Happy and enjoying my life to the full!

​I have always been direct and a straight talking Yorkshire woman which I feel makes me quite unique and you are going to get the best results! I love what I do now, knowing that I can help people get the very best out of themselves. Results can vary from person to person and client commitment is key so we can get the very best results for you.
